# CaloryX 개인정보처리방침

**시행일: 2026년 8월 17일**

CaloryX(이하 "서비스")는 이용자의 개인정보를 소중히 여기며, 「개인정보 보호법」 등 관련 법령을 준수합니다. 본 방침은 서비스가 어떤 정보를 수집하고, 어떻게 이용·보관·파기하는지를 설명합니다.

## 1. 수집하는 개인정보 항목

서비스는 **이용자가 직접 입력하거나 기능을 사용할 때** 아래 정보를 수집합니다. 광고 기능과 관련된 식별자 수집은 8항에 별도로 설명합니다.

### 1-1. 계정 정보
- 익명 계정 식별자(UUID) — 로그인 없이 사용할 때 자동 생성
- 이메일 주소 — 이메일·구글·애플 로그인을 선택한 경우에 한함

### 1-2. 신체·목표 정보 (온보딩에서 이용자가 직접 입력)
- 성별, 나이, 키, 현재 체중, 목표 체중, 활동량, 목표(감량·유지·증량) 및 속도

### 1-3. 식사 기록
- 음식 사진 (이용자가 촬영하거나 갤러리에서 선택한 사진만)
- AI 분석 결과: 음식명, 칼로리, 탄수화물·단백질·지방 등 영양 정보, 신뢰도
- 섭취 시각, 이용자가 직접 수정한 값

### 1-4. 체중·수분 기록
- 이용자가 입력한 체중 및 측정일
- 물 섭취량 및 기록일

### 1-5. 운동 기록 (위치 정보 포함)
- **정확한 위치(GPS) 경로 좌표** — 이용자가 운동 기록을 **직접 시작한 동안에만** 수집합니다
- 종목(산책·러닝·등산·사이클·드라이브), 이동 거리, 소요 시간, 고도(누적 상승·하강), 이동 속도, 소모 칼로리
- 이용자가 운동 중 직접 촬영·선택한 사진(선택 기능)

> **위치 정보에 대한 안내**
> - 위치 수집은 이용자가 운동 시작 버튼을 누른 시점부터 종료할 때까지로 한정됩니다.
> - 화면이 꺼져도 기록이 이어지도록 **포그라운드 서비스(진행 중 알림 표시)** 를 사용하며, 앱을 사용하지 않는 동안 몰래 위치를 수집하지 않습니다.
> - iOS에서는 "앱 사용 중" 권한만 요청하며 "항상 허용" 권한은 요청하지 않습니다.
> - 위치 권한을 허용하지 않아도 운동 이외의 모든 기능을 그대로 사용할 수 있습니다.

### 1-6. 친구 기능
- 배틀(친구와의 기록 경쟁) 초대 코드, 참여 여부, 집계 점수

### 1-7. AI 리포트
- 주간 리포트·코치 답변 생성 결과 및 생성 시각

### 1-8. 구독 정보
- 구독 상태 및 만료일 (유료 구독 이용 시에 한함)

### 1-9. 광고 관련 정보
- **광고 식별자(Android 광고 ID / iOS IDFA)**, 기기·앱 기본 정보(기기 모델, OS 버전, 앱 버전, 언어, 시간대, 화면 크기, 국가)
- 앱 설치·실행 등 기본 이용 이벤트
- 상세한 내용과 이용자의 선택권은 **8항(광고 및 분석)** 을 참고하시기 바랍니다.

### 1-11. 건강 앱 연동 (Apple 건강 / Android Health Connect)
- 이용자가 **명시적으로 허용한 경우에만**, 서비스가 기록한 **운동·소모 칼로리·이동 거리·체중을 건강 앱에 저장(쓰기)** 합니다.
- 서비스는 건강 앱의 데이터를 **읽지 않습니다.**
- 이 연동은 기기 안에서만 이루어지며, 건강 앱 데이터가 서비스 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.

### 1-12. 수집하지 않는 정보
- 연락처, 통화·문자 기록, 다른 앱의 사용 기록, 기기 내 파일 목록
- 주민등록번호 등 고유식별정보, 결제 카드 정보(결제는 각 앱 마켓이 처리하며 서비스는 카드 정보를 받지 않습니다)
- **서비스는 건강·식사·체중·위치 기록을 광고 목적으로 이용하거나 광고 업체에 제공하지 않습니다.**

## 2. 개인정보의 이용 목적

서비스는 위 목적 외의 용도로 개인정보를 이용하지 않으며, **개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다.**

## 3. 개인정보의 보유 및 파기

- 개인정보는 **회원 탈퇴(계정 삭제) 시 지체 없이 파기**합니다.
- 계정 삭제 시 아래가 모두 삭제됩니다.
  - 프로필(신체·목표 정보)
  - 식사 기록 및 **업로드된 음식 사진 파일 전부**
  - 체중 기록, 물 섭취 기록
  - **운동 기록(GPS 경로 좌표 포함)**
  - 친구 배틀 참여 기록, AI 리포트 결과
  - 인증 계정 자체
- 광고 식별자는 서비스 서버에 저장하지 않으며, 광고 업체가 보유하는 정보의 삭제는 **8항**의 방법으로 요청하실 수 있습니다.
- 관계 법령에 따라 보존이 필요한 경우 해당 기간 동안 분리 보관 후 파기합니다.

### 계정 삭제 방법
- 앱 내: **설정 → 계정 삭제** (앱 안에서 즉시 처리됩니다)

## 4. 개인정보 처리의 위탁 및 국외 이전

서비스는 아래 업체에 개인정보 처리를 위탁하고 있으며, 해당 업체의 서버는 대부분 **국외(미국)** 에 있습니다.

- **AI 분석 고지**: 음식 사진은 분석을 위해 Google Gemini API로 전송됩니다. 이용자는 앱 최초 사용 시 이에 대한 별도 동의 안내를 확인합니다. 동의하지 않으면 사진 분석 기능을 사용하지 않을 수 있으며, 나머지 기능은 정상 이용할 수 있습니다.
- **광고 업체에는 식사·체중·위치·건강 기록이 전송되지 않습니다.**
- 이용자는 국외 이전을 거부할 수 있으나, 이 경우 서비스의 대부분 기능(기록 저장·동기화·AI 분석)을 이용할 수 없습니다.

**위 업체를 제외하고, 서비스는 이용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.**

## 5. 이용자의 권리와 행사 방법

이용자는 언제든지 아래 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.

## 6. 만 14세 미만 아동

서비스는 **만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며**, 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 만 14세 미만 아동의 정보가 수집된 사실을 알게 되면 즉시 파기합니다.

## 7. 개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치

- 모든 통신은 **TLS로 암호화**됩니다.
- 데이터베이스에 **행 수준 보안(RLS)** 을 적용하여, 이용자는 **본인의 데이터에만** 접근할 수 있습니다.
- 음식 사진은 이용자별 폴더로 분리 저장되며 동일한 접근 제어가 적용됩니다.
- 개인정보 처리 권한은 최소 인원으로 제한하며, 서버 관리 키는 서버 환경에만 보관합니다.

## 8. 광고 및 분석

### 8-1. 서비스가 사용하는 광고
- 서비스는 **Google AdMob의 보상형 광고(리워드 광고)** 를 사용합니다.
- **배너 광고와 전면 광고는 사용하지 않습니다.**
- 보상형 광고는 **이용자가 직접 "광고 보기" 버튼을 누른 경우에만** 재생되며, 시청을 마치면 일정 시간 동안 기능을 제한 없이 이용할 수 있습니다. 광고를 보지 않으려면 유료 구독을 선택하실 수 있습니다.

### 8-2. 광고 성과 측정
- 서비스는 **Meta Platforms, Inc.의 SDK**를 사용하여 **앱 설치·실행 이벤트**를 Meta에 전송합니다.
- 목적은 Facebook·Instagram에 집행하는 **앱 설치 광고의 성과를 측정하고 최적화**하기 위함입니다.
- 전송되는 정보는 광고 식별자, 기기·앱 기본 정보, 설치·실행 이벤트이며, **이용자의 식사·체중·위치·건강 기록은 전송되지 않습니다.**

### 8-3. 광고 식별자와 이용자의 선택권
- 광고 식별자는 **개인을 직접 식별하지 않는 재설정 가능한 값**이며, 이용자가 언제든지 초기화하거나 사용을 거부할 수 있습니다.
  - **Android**: 설정 → 개인정보 보호 → 광고 → *광고 ID 삭제*
  - **iOS**: 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적 → *앱이 추적을 요청하도록 허용* 끄기
- **유럽경제지역(EEA)·영국** 이용자에게는 광고 목적의 개인정보 처리에 대한 **동의 창**을 앱 실행 시 표시하며, 동의하기 전까지 광고 식별자를 수집하지 않습니다. 동의는 언제든지 철회할 수 있습니다.
- 광고 식별자 수집을 거부하셔도 서비스의 모든 기능을 정상적으로 이용할 수 있습니다.

각 업체의 자체 처리방침은 아래에서 확인하실 수 있습니다.

## 9. 의학적 고지

서비스가 제공하는 칼로리·영양·소모 칼로리 수치는 **AI 및 통계 기반의 추정값**이며, **의학적 진단·치료·처방을 대체하지 않습니다.** 건강상 결정을 내리기 전에는 전문가와 상담하시기 바랍니다.

## 11. 방침의 변경

본 방침이 변경되는 경우, 변경 내용과 시행일을 이 페이지에 게시하고 앱 내에서 안내합니다. 중요한 변경(수집 항목 추가, 이용 목적 변경, 제3자 제공 확대 등)은 시행 최소 7일 전에 고지합니다.

- **2026-08-17: 광고 기능 도입에 따라 개정.** Google AdMob 보상형 광고와 Meta 앱 설치 광고 성과 측정 SDK를 8항에 명시하고, 광고 식별자 수집·이용자 선택권·EEA 동의 절차를 추가했으며, 수탁업체 표에 Google AdMob과 Meta Platforms를 추가했습니다. 종전 8항의 "광고를 게재하지 않는다"는 문구는 현재 서비스와 맞지 않아 삭제했습니다.

# CaloryX Privacy Policy

**Effective: August 17, 2026**

CaloryX ("the Service") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.

## 1. Information We Collect

We collect information **when you enter it or use a feature**. Identifiers used for advertising are described separately in §8.

**Account** — anonymous account identifier (UUID); email address (only if you sign in with email, Google, or Apple).

**Body & goals (entered by you)** — sex, age, height, current weight, goal weight, activity level, goal and pace.

**Meals** — food photos you take or select; AI analysis results (food name, calories, carbohydrates, protein, fat, confidence); time eaten; any corrections you make.

**Weight & water** — weight entries and dates; water intake entries.

**Workouts (includes location)** — **precise GPS route coordinates, collected only while you have actively started a workout**; activity type (walk, run, hike, cycle, drive), distance, duration, elevation gain/loss, speed, calories burned; photos you choose to attach to a route.

> **About location:** Collection starts when you tap Start and ends when you finish. A foreground service with a visible notification keeps recording while the screen is off. We never collect location while you are not recording a workout. On iOS we request "While Using the App" only — never "Always." Declining location permission does not affect any other feature.

**Friends** — battle invite codes, participation, aggregated scores.
**AI reports** — generated weekly reports and coach responses.
**Subscription** — subscription status and expiry (only if you subscribe).

**Advertising information** — advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA), basic device and app information (device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, screen size, country), and basic usage events such as app install and launch. See **§8**.

**Health app integration (Apple Health / Health Connect)** — only with your explicit permission, we **write** workouts, calories burned, distance, and weight to your health app. **We do not read** health app data, and no health app data is sent to our servers.

**We do not collect** contacts, call/SMS logs, other apps' usage, device file listings, government ID numbers, or payment card details (payments are handled entirely by the app stores). **We never use or share your meal, weight, location, or health records for advertising.**

## 2. How We Use It
To identify your account and sync across devices; to calculate your calorie and macro targets; to analyze food photos; to draw weight trends and estimate your actual energy expenditure; to compute workout routes, distance, elevation, and calories and to generate workout recap videos; to run friend battles; to generate weekly reports; to serve ads and measure advertising performance (§8). **We do not sell your data.**

## 3. Retention and Deletion
We delete your data **without delay when you delete your account** — profile, meals and all uploaded food photos, weight and water logs, **workout records including GPS routes**, battles, AI reports, and the authentication account itself. Advertising identifiers are not stored on our servers; to request deletion from our advertising partners, see §8.
Delete in-app: **Settings → Delete Account**. Or email **[email protected]**.

## 4. Processors and International Transfer
Servers are located in the **United States**, except where noted.

**AI notice:** food photos are sent to the Google Gemini API for analysis. You are asked to acknowledge this the first time you use the app. If you decline, you can continue to use every other feature.
**No meal, weight, location, or health data is sent to advertising partners.**
Other than the processors above, **we do not share your personal data with third parties.**

## 5. Your Rights
View, correct, and delete your records directly in the app. Withdraw consent at any time via your device permission settings, reset or delete your advertising identifier (§8), or delete your account entirely. You may also email us and we will act without delay.

## 6. Children
The Service is **not directed to children under 14** and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn we have, we delete it immediately.

## 7. Security
All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Row Level Security ensures each user can access **only their own rows**. Food photos are stored in per-user folders under the same access control. Server keys are stored only in the server environment.

## 8. Advertising and Analytics

**Ads we show.** The Service uses **Google AdMob rewarded ads**. We do **not** use banner ads or interstitial ads. A rewarded ad plays **only after you tap a "Watch ad" button**, and completing it unlocks unrestricted use of a feature for a limited time. You may subscribe instead if you prefer not to see ads.

**Performance measurement.** We use the **Meta Platforms, Inc. SDK** to send **app install and launch events** to Meta. The purpose is to measure and optimize the app install ads we run on Facebook and Instagram. The data sent is limited to the advertising identifier, basic device/app information, and install/launch events. **Your meal, weight, location, and health records are never sent.**

**Advertising identifier and your choices.** The advertising identifier is a resettable value that does not directly identify you, and you can reset or opt out at any time:
- **Android**: Settings → Privacy → Ads → *Delete advertising ID*
- **iOS**: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off *Allow Apps to Request to Track*

For users in the **European Economic Area and the United Kingdom**, we show a consent dialog on launch and do not collect the advertising identifier before consent is given. You may withdraw consent at any time. Declining does not affect any feature of the Service.

## 9. Medical Disclaimer
Calorie, nutrition, and energy-expenditure figures are **AI and statistical estimates**. They are **not medical advice** and do not replace diagnosis or treatment. Consult a professional before making health decisions.

We will post any change and its effective date on this page and notify you in the app. Material changes (new data types, new purposes, expanded sharing) are announced at least 7 days in advance.

- **2026-08-17: Updated for advertising.** Added Google AdMob rewarded ads and the Meta app-install measurement SDK to §8, documented the advertising identifier, user choices, and the EEA consent flow, and added Google AdMob and Meta Platforms to the processor table. The previous statement that the Service shows no advertising no longer matched the app and has been removed.
- 2026-07-23: Added and clarified workout records (precise location / routes), health app integration, friend battles, AI reports, international transfer details, no-advertising statement, and medical disclaimer.
